WebRTC-Based Event Streaming Platform

A hi-tech start-up tasked the Oxagile team of real-time communication experts with the development of a highly usable WebRTC-based iOS broadcasting app. The app would have to seamlessly integrate with, and enhance the functionality of, the client’s existing solution.

The existing system — which at the time consisted of a cloud studio and an Android app — empowered teams to broadcast live events via Facebook, with features including camera switching, real-time production, and more.

Built from the ground up, the new iOS app expands the client’s product offering, while leveraging the power of the Kurento media server to deliver the necessary performance and communication quality.

Besides the actual implementation, Oxagile was responsible for performance testing and support to ensure the final product quality.
